REHOMING a semi-reactive dog

I am in urgent need to rehome my lovely dog, Sequoia. She is 3.5 years old, Rottweiler/English Mastiff mix. I am homeless and already struggling to take care of my self and life life physically and mentally and she needs a better life than the one I can give her crammed in the back of my Toyota. She is a partially-reactive dog, never had any bites or issues like that, but can be considerably stand-offish. She recently spent 7 days at the Boulder Valley Humane Society and they were unable to accept her into their adoption program for that reason. Namely, she didn't want any of them to leash her up (they did do it successfully at one point, but apparently not enough for her to qualify). She is a good dog, cuddly and loves to play, but I have no doubt she will take some time to warm up to you. For this reason I wouldn't recommend her for a family home/kids but I think there are many places she could have a good home.
