Press release from the Santa Cruz Public Libraries: jamesheskettw April 15, 2022 There are currently two art exhibits at the Downtown Branch Library. On the first floor you can see art done by residents of Siena House. Siena House Maternity Home houses displaced women and their babies. While living at Siena House the women participate in a program that is designed to help them live independently. In addition to classes on parenting, budgeting, and healthy relationships, residents are encouraged to do art, yoga, and other activities. In the Veterans Information Center (VIC) you can see art by Travis Deyoung. Travis is a Marine Coups Vet who now works with Veterans in Santa Cruz County.
