Here are the top three stories in Charleston today: A Charleston-based boat named Fish Sticks has won the 2022 South Carolina Wahoo Series. The award comes with a $35,000 prize. Fish Sticks was one of the smallest boats in the competition at 23 feet. The boat was captained by Gifford Scott of John's Island. (Charleston Post Courier)Two people were reported injured during a crash at the intersection of Coming and Cannon streets on Sunday after their vehicle struck a pole. The Medical University of Carolina is treating the two people for minor injuries sustained during the incident, according to officials. Crews are working to repair the pole. (Live 5 News WCSC)The North Charleston Police Department reports that two people have died following a Sunday morning shooting near Bailey Drive. The identities of the two victims have not been identified by the coroner's office and the department has not released any information about suspects.
