NEWTON, MA — A woman was seriously injured Saturday night when she was hit by a Green Line train at Newton Center. The D branch train was moving inbound. Transit police said the woman, who is about 40 years old, was hit around 7:45 p.m. She was taken to the hospital. Her condition has not been updated. Police are looking into what caused the crash.
