AURORA, IL — A man is in critical condition after he was hit by a car in Aurora Thursday evening, officials said. Aurora police responded to the intersection of East Galena Boulevard and North Ohio Street for reports of a pedestrian-vehicle crash at 10:41 p.m. When officers arrived, they found the man critical injuries. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition, where he remains as of 4 p.m. Friday, officers told Patch. The traffic division was called to assist, and the crash remains under investigation by them. Police are still trying to figure out how the crash happened and could not provide details as to how the crash happened because it is still being pieced together.
