FARMINGDALE, NY — The deadline on the payment of Farmingdale Village taxes was extended until the close of business on July 22, the village announced. Village taxes are normally due July 1 every year. As long as taxes are paid by the new deadline, there will be no penalties.
Mayor Ralph Ekstrand, on behalf of Village Taxpayers, requested and received approval from Gov. Andrew Cuomo through an executive order to extend the deadline by three weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic.
