NEWTON, MA —Several residents have reported signs with slogans supporting the racial justice movement have gone missing from their front lawns. A resident called police around noon on July 5 to report a sign that read "Change," was taken from Langdon Street. Two other people called to report "Black Lives Matter" signs were taken from front lawns on Cabot Street and Narrative Park Avenue the following day July 6, police said. A few days later on July 11 a Kimball Terrace resident reported that a "Thin Red Line" sign honoring firefighters who have fallen in the line of duty had been taken from his front lawn, police said.
