RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL WITH THE FOLLOWING: 1) What location of San Diego do you live in? 2) Do you have reliable transportation? 3) Are you willing to meet the driver to pickup the van in Rancho Penasquitos? 4) Are you currently employed or do you do other gigs as your primary source of income? 5) Are you capable of moving heavy items up and down stairs if needed? 6) Do you have any prior moving experience? 7) Have you used moving straps, dollies, ratchet straps, and done any tier loading in trucks or vans? 8) Do you have any experience with basic assembly of furniture items or outdoor items (dressers, treadmills, etc.)? 9) What is your availability (i.e. certain days, on-call, etc.)? 10) Do you understand some days there may only be 2 jobs (2-3 hours of work) and some days we may have 6-8 hours of work? HELPERS: Must be 18 years old with a driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be willing to meet the driver and pickup van in Rancho Penasquitos. Some jobs can be 2-3 hours and some days can be a full schedule. Please respond with your availability and any relevant experience moving furniture or heavy items. DRIVERS: Must be 25 years-old with a clean driving record and insurance. No commercial driver's license needed. We use a Ford Transit 150 van which will be provided. Fuel costs and moving equipment/supplies provided. Ideally, we are looking for people within 10 miles of Rancho Penasquitos that have reliable transportation to pick up the van for our pick-up and delivery service. This is an independent contractor job with potential to become a part-time to full-time employee as we build momentum. Must be able to lift heavy furniture and have experience using dollies, moving straps, and maneuvering tight spaces and stairs without damaging furniture.
