I was unfortunate enough to lack the money for all of my groceries. So, I had to take a few items out of my cart to lower the balance. When I finish loading up the car and pull out of my spot. The lovely young lady in line behind me waved me down and handed me the items I wasn't able to afford. Her act of kindness really touched my heart. Ma'am.. I know this is going to sound silly, because I couldn't afford my groceries today, but I wish I could show you my appreciation by offering to take you out to dinner. YES I CAN AFFORD IT ;-) I feel that this is a long shot and you might not ever see this post. But it is worth a try. Please reply with the items you bought for me. I'll even reimburse you.
