Crime scene Cleanup technician. We are a local company that provides bio hazard remediation services and specializes in infectious disease prevention, as well as trauma scene cleanup. Job Overview: We currently have immediate openings for Crime Scene Technician assistants, in addition to reconstruction after remediation. We are seeking employees who are hardworking, compassionate, and have a strong desire to assist families whenever the need arises. Candidate would need to be available to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on short notice as we are an emergency response company. You may need to travel, depending on the situation, and be flexible with multi day travel. We provide all lodging accommodations. We currently are in need full time employees in our most frequently visited zones. Seattle, Tacoma, Kent, Spanaway, Auburn, and Lakewood. We have full time opportunities available. We will provide you with comprehensive training in safety, bio hazard cleaning protocols and procedures. You will be required to complete your air borne and blood borne pathogens test prior to employment. Shaving of facial hair is required in order to properly wear a full faced respirator. Main Responsibilities: You will work underneath a trained bio hazard technician to clean up after situations like suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, hoarding and trauma scenes, and you will be responsible for bio hazard waste cleanup and removal at various law enforcement facilities. We clean and sanitize holding cells, squad cars and must be on site within 60 minutes in most cases. We do not only do emergency on call work. We schedule jobs through out the week for 9-5 like hours to complete abandoned homeless camp cleanups, drug paraphernalia retrieval and disposal, and other jobs like hoarding pack outs. We provide active COVID-19 disinfection and prevention services, in addition to other infectious disease disinfection. Suitable candidates must have strong communication skills, and attention to detail. Duties may include meeting your supervisor on site, staging tools and materials, decontamination of squad cars/ jail cells, general demolition, and packing garbage, bio bins in and out of job sites. Basic Qualifications: *Must be 18 years of age or older. *Must have reliable transportation 24/7. *Must be available (on call) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. *Must be able to pass a background check. *Ability to lift 50 lbs * Some State contracts may require proof of Covid-19 Vaccination. Experience not necessary but preferable. Will train the right applicants. Prior experience in construction, demolition, restoration, carpentry or comparable industries is desired but not required.
