The Route Deep Fryer Cleaning (RDFC) Specialist performs tasks involving traveling a specified weekly route to different client kitchens located in hotels, restaurants, hospitals, universities, colleges and sporting venues. Basically any establishment that has deep fryers. The position will require the operation of a variety of equipment as well as cleaning and detailing kitchen deep fryers. The position may assist other Route Deep Fryer Cleaning Specialist. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in hot areas of kitchens: · Performs manual cleaning of fryers and when needed removal cooking oil for waste transport. · Determines the need to filter or dispose of cooking oil. · Properly operates a filtration machine. · Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. What do we require? That our associates are dependable, honest and treat people like they want to be treated You possess a can do attitude and are motivated to do a great job. That you have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. You have basic knowledge of current computer applications (i.e. smartphone, text, google apps.) You don't have to be Arnold Schwarzenegger but must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. You know difference between a flathead and Phillip screwdriver. Although the GPS may be your friend you have a good knowledge of the greater Baltimore Metro area.
