Hello Everyone! I have an opening available for childcare. If you know of anyone in need of childcare feel free to message me. I'm a passionate licensed teacher with over 17 years of experience working with children, including preschool teacher at daycare's, being a nanny throughout my college years, and teaching second grade and third grade. I am currently an active, engaged childcare provider and preschool teacher that enjoys daily outings, constructive play, baking, and arts and crafts time. We complete monthly units with a specific theme and I am a strong believer of letting kids explore the world around them. One theme we have completed was Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We painted rocking chairs to make up for breaking baby bears chair. We painted with mud as a discussion of what Goldilocks could have done in the forest instead of breaking into someone’s house and we are always working on literacy, math, and science throughout our units. I made the transition from third grade teacher to in home preschool teacher over seven years ago and have truly loved my decision. I'm looking for a family that views me as a team member in raising their child. Communication, trust, and consistency are very important to me. I possess a Bachelors degree with emphasis in elementary education, a Master’s degree in early education, and currently hold an elementary teaching license. I'm also cpr and first aid certified to ensure you child/ren are safe. I have taken care of children with special needs including an infant with a g-tube.
