UNION SQUARE, NY — A person was struck by a train Tuesday afternoon at the Union Square subway station, causing disruptions on at least two train lines, MTA officials announced.
The person was hit on a northbound track at the 14th Street station shortly before 4 p.m., MTA officials said.
Northbound N, Q, R and W trains bypassed 14th Street-Union Square and northbound N and Q trains were routed along the R line from Dekalb Avenue to Times Square-42nd Street as first responders operated at the station, transit officials said.
