Description

29 yr OLD white female looking for activities Partners that are on top of Their game '''''''''''''Bass/keys player looking to start a Psychedelic soul/funk/jazz band. Looking for like minded musicians in their 20s to 40s who excel at their craft. Original music and covers. Influences include newer artists like Black Pumas, Alabama Shakes, Ghost Funk Orchestra, etc. But also the classics: Curtis Mayfield, P-funk, Bill Withers, Isaac Hayes, Sly & the Family Stone, Herbie Hancock, Marvin Gaye/Motown... Not really looking to do a 80's/90's style R&B/funk slapfest project this is more aimed towards a late 60's early 70's aesthetic and sound. We have a safe and secure practice space, a PA, good gear, we're just missing a bass player. Looking for established players with their own reliable (and loud) gear, their own transportation, and the willingness to show up to practice ready to write and play. We want to be ready to play shows by this summer. Hit us up and lets get loud.Anyone out there who’s a guitarist-singer looking to join a band. We got a couple of tunes in the works and looking to round up the line up. We are looking to start a 3 piece and do all the band stuff (rehearse, play live, record music etc). Whether you’re looking for an experienced guitarist to fill a spot in your band, or if you’re just looking to jam I’d like to see who’s out there. I’ve played in bands (some regional touring/success) ranging from hard rock to a variety of metal sub genres. I’m open to new things, but I’m not a strong country, or “tech metal” guitar player. We are all original and welcome your contribution to song writing, but that’s not required if it’s not your thing. But if you’re a singer/songwriter who writes fun upbeat tunes and wants to hear your songs played by a full band then this might be a good opportunity for you. We practice once per week, usually Saturday or Sunday mornings in Wallingford (Seattle). We try to gig at least once per month and we currently have shows booked in June and July. Age is not super important to us other than you must be able to play in 21+ venues. We range in age from 30-52 if it matters to you. I have a great regular 9-5 but playing music in between is my passion. I'm not that guy canceling gigs, I'm the guy filling my calendar up. I'm click track proficient and have excellent meter. I have all professional equipment (mics, cords and wireless in ear monitor) and don't rely on you for anything.bassist with lots of experience playing live looking to join working or near working cover band. My preferred genres are classic rock, oldies, 80’s. I don’t get too fancy with it, I play with a pick, and I lay down a solid foundation. Looking to play out about once a month and practice every couple weeks, I do my homework and come ready to practice and gigs knowing my parts. I can do backing vocals as well, depending on the difficulty of the bass line in the song. If interested shoot me an email with your contact info and a little bit about your project and I will respond, thanks!
