Established triangle cover band seeking- a lead front-person vocalist that can entertain and has quality pipes. We play mostly 80s-90’s rock with a few newer and a few older including Petty, STP, Foo Fighters, R.E.M., Collective Soul, Black Keys, Gin Blossoms...we play at several local restaurants/breweries. Not a career but gigging when we want to- 2-4x a month in Raleigh, Wake Forest, Fuquay,…with rehearsals in Raleigh as needed. Current lineup includes 2 guitarists, bass and drummer. You need to be reliable, cool to hang out with and this should be your primary band even if you’ve got a solo side project- Role is primary lead vocals, but if you can blow a harp like John Popper we’ll add some Blues Traveler- If you can play some keys - awesome. If you are a guitarist we’ll figure out how to work that in. Ideal candidate: • An experienced vocalist that is passionate and knows how to have fun. • Willing to practice as needed, (once a week max), and memorize lyrics. • Available for 3 - 4 gigs a month. We practice and play in the triangle area. • Playing an instrument isn’t critical. (We currently have 2 guitars, bass, drums). • Enjoys classic rock as well as late 80’s and 90’s rock. • Is experienced, (we are all in our 50’s with many years of playing). • Willing to audition, get up to speed in the next 30 days. • Heavy boozing and drugs not part of our culture.
