I want someone to text while he is away. And maybe have a little fun. And looking for someone relatively msgs me. ''''''''''''Bass/keys player looking to start a Psychedelic soul/funk/jazz band. Looking for like minded musicians in their 20s to 40s who excel at their craft. Original music and covers. Influences include newer artists like Black Pumas, Alabama Shakes, Ghost Funk Orchestra, etc. But also the classics: Curtis Mayfield, P-funk, Bill Withers, Isaac Hayes, Sly & the Family Stone, Herbie Hancock, Marvin Gaye/Motown... Not really looking to do a 80's/90's style R&B/funk slapfest project this is more aimed towards a late 60's early 70's aesthetic and sound. We have a safe and secure practice space, a PA, good gear, we're just missing a bass player. Looking for established players with their own reliable (and loud) gear, their own transportation, and the willingness to show up to practice ready to write and play. I'm looking for a working band with gigs. A small church in East valley is in need of volunteer singers and musicians. Looking for like minded musicians in their 20s to 40s who excel at their craft. Original music and covers. I have a great regular 9-5 but playing music in between is my passion. I'm not that guy canceling gigs, I'm the guy filling my calendar up. I'm click track proficient and have excellent meter. I have all professional equipment (mics, cords and wireless in ear monitor) and don't rely on you for anything. I also have a cajon setup. I can do duo or trio acoustic gigs and make your acoustic gig yacht rock even harder than it does already! If you need a fun, easy going, easy to get along with guy that barely drinks but has a great time at every gig, give me a shout. I have a home practice setup for studying and I'm not opposed to band practices (within reason). Thank you !
