Friendly and experienced drummer, guitarist and bassist looking to be the foundation of a 90s-Modern rock cover band. Goal is to play out roughly once/month, performing popular covers that still hit hard. Looking for other musicians to make an indie/dream/psychedelic rock band. The sounds I would be going for would be bands like Mazzy Star, My Bloody Valentine, Pink Floyd, Beach House, Cocteau Twins, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Jimi Hendrix, and the Velvet Underground. Think of a good mix between sweet and dreamy to aggressive and groove based. The goal is to make original music, record, and perform live. I am 25 year old lead guitarist/songwriter who has been playing for 10 years. Would be searching for a drummer, bassist, other guitarist, synth/keys player. Hit me up and let’s jam! We are all guys in our late 40s and have a band with semi-regular gigs. We have been together for about 7 years and play 90’s & 2000’s alternative rock music like Weezer, RHCP, Jimmy Eat World, Sublime, STP, Blink 182, Green Day, The Killers….etc. We have day jobs and have no aspirations of being ‘Rock Stars’ as a profession and don't do it for the money. 2 of us are Doctors and we all have families. Ideally, we like to learn songs on our own and then get together once every other week to work out the details together and then more frequently closer to shows. Mainly, we just get together to have fun and gig. Ideally, we gig once or twice a month. Looking for someone of like mind that knows and likes these songs. We are located in the North Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Drug and drama free. Vocals a plus (for 3 part harmonies.) Gigs lined up and looking for more. A big cage, food, bedding, a litter box and litter, and even a toy slinky maze are included. Pickup is only available in the Bushwick region. Ferret cage with full cheeks. Approximately a month ago, I paid $200 for it. I bought it for my rats, but the gaps between the bars are too wide for them.
