Calling All Renton Boy and Girl Scouts! It’s back! Renton Regional Fire Authority (RRFA) is once again hosting its annual Scout Night at the Fire Station in partnership with Renton Police Department (RPD). RRFA facilitates numerous public education requests annually from scout groups trying to achieve certain badge requirements. In response to the demand and to reach more scouting groups, we thought local scouts deserved an event of their very own. RRFA and RPD invite all scouting groups (through 5th grade) to join us for our FREE Scout Night event scheduled for Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, from 6:00- 8:00 PM at Fire Station 14. Who?Scout groups within Renton Regional Fire Authority’s service areas are invited to attend. Event Activities:Scouts will rotate through various learning stations at this free event designed to address several badge requirements. Learning stations include: • Home Safety • Basic First Aid • Home Escape Planning • Ropes and Knots • Fire and Law Enforcement Careers • 9-1-1 •Poison Prevention • Child ID Cards • And More! •Food Drive: Bring canned goods and or a monetary donation that will be donated to a local food bank and distributed amongst our community! We're excited to have other community partners join in on the fun! These partners include: King County Medic One, King County E-911, Washington Poison Center, 911 Kids Club and Seattle DEA Location and Parking:Renton Station #14 -1900 Lind Ave SW Renton, WA 98057 Parking is limited. Please plan to carpool. Parking is available in the front of the building and across the street from the fire station.
