You are invited to volunteer outside with other families! Stewardship Squad will be working outdoors at King County's North Wind's Weir on the Duwamish River in South Seattle/N. Tukwila with the environmental non-profit Duwamish Alive! This site has significance to Native Americans, salmon, seal, fishing folk and so much more. Expect plenty of MUD! If you have your own work gloves for tiny hands it can be handy to bring them, otherwise gloves can totally be borrowed. Please rest at home if you don't feel well. No requirement for masks of vaccination, please use your judgement and respect the choices of others, thank you :) Park along the dead end, 112th St. The natural area is on the north side.
