For ages 8 and up. Come weave narrow bands of colorful patterns. For ages 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by an Adult This activity is free, but Museum admission required Proof of vaccination and face masks required. Come weave narrow bands of colorful patterns. Inkle and band weaving is commonly used to create narrow weaves used for trims, tapes and ribbons, straps, and belts. Weavings will be labeled with the student’s name and can be picked up at the museum two weeks after the workshop. DUE TO THE ADVANCE PREPARATION INVOLVED FOR THIS EVENT, REGISTRATIONS WILL CLOSE at 5 PM on 5/13 This event accompanies the exhibit Woven Together: Weavers' Guild of Boston Celebrates a Century of Makers, running April 6 – December 31, 2022.
