Description

Three world leaders. One Nazi plot. The Most Dangerous Man in Europe. Can the FBI stop the disaster in time? The final meeting of Lexington Historical Society’s Book Group for this season will feature a discussion with author Howard Blum of his book Night of the Assassins: The Untold Story of Hitler's Plot to Kill FDR, Churchill, and Stalin. Blum’s book follows the nail-biting story of a top-secret mission, led by an assassin known as The Most Dangerous Man in the World, to parachute into Tehran, Iran, and take out the three most important Allied leaders in one fell swoop and change the course of World War II. The author will join us virtually, but Book Group will meet in person at the Depot. Light refreshments will be served. Following the meeting, the group will discuss book ideas for the 2022-23 season beginning in the fall. Registration suggested but not required.
