"Sound Mind" Cinematic Mixtape Screening by Eli Lu, moderated by veteran actor, Richard Lawson, at WACO Theater Center in LA. "Sound Mind" Cinematic Mixtape, by spoken word, hip-hop duo & twin sisters, Eli Lu, consists of 12 short films that coincide with 12 spoken word, hip-hop tracks. WACO Theater Center doors will open at 7:00 P.M. The screening will begin promptly at 7:30 P.M. followed by a Q&A with Eli Lu (& cast of The Epidemic (1 of the 12 films)) moderated by veteran actor, Richard Lawson, who's film catalog includes Steven Spielberg's Poltergeist, Tyler Perry's For Colored Colors, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Wag the Dog, and many more. Through "Sound Mind," a cinematic blend of various art forms and genres, Eli Lu targets various social issues and relatable themes such as deferred dreams, breaking stereotypes, faith through trauma, staying true to yourself, dealing with loss, and many more topics. Eli Lu focuses on storytelling and creative visuals to deliver messages of awareness, hope, and inspiration, all while putting a lens on hard to discuss, but needed topics. Eli Lu Entertainment, located in Philadelphia, PA, also worked with approximately 150+ talent in and around the Philadelphia tri-state region. Now, "Sound Mind" is coming to the WACO Theater Center Screen in North Hollywood! "Sound Mind was created to reach people in more ways than one through thought provoking music & visuals. The entire project is about the total frame of thinking in the face of adversity, trauma, and difficult decision making.
