We are excited to be joined by poet and writer Natasha Trethewey, who will be discussing her most recent memoir, Memorial Drive: A Daughter's Memoir (Ecco Press, 2020).

Professor Trethewey served two terms as poet laureate of the United States. In addition to her recent memoir, she is the author of five collections of poetry and a book of non-fiction. Trethewey is the recipient of fellowships from the Academy of American Poets, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Guggenheim Foundation, and others. Professor Trethewey is a fellow of both the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
Currently, she is Board of Trustees Professor of English at Northwestern University.
