Messy Misfits Club returns with the release of the second edition of their zine focusing on queerness and the messy, complicated truths. Messy Misfits Club is a zine based in Chicago dedicated to the taboo and untouched topics. Our goal is to amplify Queer and BIPOC voices, which have deep a history of being censored and ignored. In this edition we explore the intersection of Religion and Spirituality with our most sacred identities. Christian trauma, Jewish pride, astrological intimacy, we have it all! And we want nothing more than to celebrate with you all. Messy Misfits Club is led by Flower, Riley Reed & Emma Cholip. Join us at The Martin for a night filled with community, performance and of course: copies of the new zine by MMC. Doors at 6:30pm and performances start at 7pm. Buy your physical or digital zine in advance with your entry ticket. Physical zines are limited! The Martin is a mask optional and vaccination required space. All attendees must show proof of vaccination at the door. There will be a card only bar with beer, wine, cocktails & NA options available for all. Want to dine at Split-Rail before the party?
