Willie Mays Boys & Girls Club Gym Unveiling and Youth Basketball Clinic Join us as the Warriors Community Foundation, in partnership with United Airlines and the Good Tidings Foundation, unveil a newly refurbished basketball gymnasium at the Willie Mays Boys & Girls Club on April 28th. The dedication ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the site, which is located at 195 Kiska Road in San Francisco, and will be followed by a basketball clinic for local youth, hosted by Warriors Basketball Academy, from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. The refurbished court is made possible by the Making Hoops program, a partnership between the Warriors Community Foundation and the Good Tidings Foundation, which has refurbished more than 85 basketball courts around the Bay Area. The renovation work at the Willie Mays gym included removing all existing lights and replacing with energy efficient LED lighting, removing and replacing all exterior windows on the eastern side of the gym, insulating and installing new plywood sheer wall on the gym ends, painting of the gym walls, and installing new wall graphics.
