Learn to make a kite using kite engineering skills! Learn how to build and fly a kite, kite engineering basics, different kite-making materials, and three key kitemaker knots. Learn how the artistry of kites can convey a powerful message plus how to plan a kite festival at your school! Class is taught by Terry Zee Lee, president of Sky Wind World in conjunction with Art4Water, the Wimberley Valley Watershed, and Austin Central Library's Sacred Springs Kite Exhibition. Reserved for tweens age 9-12.
