THE FACTSHeart disease is the #1 killer of women 1 in 3 woman die from Heart Disease versus 1 in 30 for Breast CancerA woman dies every 80 seconds from heart disease and/or stroke 80% of these diseases may be preventedDanielle, the owner of STRIDE 5th Street, has been nominated by the Austin American Heart Association (AHA) as a 2022 Go Red for Women's Woman of Impact Fundraising Campaign. This is truly special to her because of the impact heart disease has on women and also because of the work the AHA does around stroke disease. AHA & STROKE DISEASECardiovascular disease includes both heart disease and stroke which is why the AHA has the American Stroke Association under its umbrella. This is near and dear to Danielle's heart, because her mom had a massive stroke at the age of 59, 10 days after her middle son was born. Her mom lived another 5 years paralyzed on half of her body with little quality of life and passed away on February 17th, 2020, due to complications associated with her stroke. Danielle wants to do whatever she can to help others fight and hopefully beat heart and stroke disease. PLEASE JOIN DANIELLE IN THIS FIGHT BY ATTENDING THIS STRIDE FITNESS DONATION CLASS!
