The First Annual JAR Family Foundation Scholarship Awards Luncheon The JAR Family Foundation presents its first annual luncheon, held at The Mayne Event Center. We will honor an Artesia High School student who will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship for his/her academic, community, and high school involvements. The event will also be host to a silent auction to raise money for the 2023 scholarship recipients. Each year our goal is to raise more money than the previous, to award even more scholarships to deserving young adults. In addition, we will have a Pulitzer prize nominee, national best seller author, Victor Villaseñor, our keynote speaker. You will also have the opportunity to purchase one of his books during the book signing session. JAR Foundation, Inc.is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a nonprofit 501(c ) (3) organization. Federal ID number 83-4293512. Qualified donations will be issued a receipt for tax purposes.
