The MOS chorus performs hits from the '70s and '80s from ABBA, Elton John, The Carpenters, Chicago, and the Bee Gees, among others.
The full MOS chorus, along with keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums, performs songs made famous primarily in the ’70s and ’80s and which generally held easily remembered melodies, lush harmonies, and understandable lyrics. This music is often called “soft rock” and includes artists and groups such as ABBA, Elton John, The Carpenters, Chicago, and the Bee Gees. Soft Rockin’ with MOS will bring back memories of the great songs by these artists. There will even be a chance for the audience to sing along with some of these hits.
This program is sponsored in honor of longtime friends from Jacksonville State University by Gail and Lee Herring.
Visit the MOS web site for a full list of songs to be performed.
