Free Family Crafting Using Recycled and Reclaimed Materials, Presented by reDiscover Center Get crafty with the whole family! Culver City's reDiscover Center hosts this fun, kid-friendly "make and take" event for ages 4-8 on the plaza at Ivy Station Culver City. Tap into your inner maker and create something new out of recycled and reclaimed materials. A different art project every Saturday. Come to one event or all! For the month of April, family crafting events will have a STEM-focus, in participation with City of STEM. About City of STEM: City of STEM creates opportunities through its month-long series of events to inspire learners of all ages in Greater Los Angeles to chase their curiosity, connect with others and celebrate the joy and beauty of science, technology, engineering, and math while inspiring generations of science enthusiasts, researchers, educators, and industry leaders. April 16, 2022 Parachutes Pals Use upcycled materials to make a friend who can fly from up high and survive the fall! Sat. April 23, 2022 Puppets & Marionettes Calling all Puppet Masters and Enthusiasts! Can’t put on a show without the puppets. Make puppets and marionettes with reDiscover Center using upcycled materials.
