I'm looking for a drummer to join my art/music project, Art School Debt, for recording sessions and possible gigs in the future. I'm a graphic designer and self-taught musician (rhythm guitar/bass/vox) in my late-twenties looking to bring to life some original songs I've written and demoed on my own. The sound I aim for is scrappy, irreverent music about everyday shit that anyone can learn to play in minutes. I especially love noisy and naive songs that barely last 2 minutes. Influences: Gorillaz, Nirvana, Mike Krol, Thee Oh Sees/OSEES, Damaged Bug, Jay Reatard, Half Japanese, The Vaselines, Beat Happening, 60's Garage bands, The Vines, The White Stripes, Pixies, The Stooges, Billy Childish, and Ween.
