STRATFORD, CT — Stratford schools will have a remote learning day Thursday due to the oncoming snowstorm, according to the school district website.
"All students and staff will work from home," a message on the website said. "All buildings will be closed."
With a winter storm warning issued for the entire state, snow is expected to fall throughout Wednesday evening and overnight, with up to 40 mph winds. Accumulation is estimated between 8 and 16 inches.
Bunnell and Stratford high schools and a few select grade levels in other schools across the district switched to a full remote schedule earlier in the week due to complications caused by the coronavirus.
