It's our 1st BIG event & we INVITE YOU! Enjoy FREE margaritas, virgin margaritas,other beverages,chips,salsa, dessert,music,& live auction! We are the Friends of the Library of Wright City are we are excited to host and invite you to our 1st special event! Our event is open to Warren County businesses, organizations, & those wanting to honor a loved one's memory. (The library will close early at 5pm to the public for this special RSVP event ). Friends of the Library Wright City is a non profit organization who's purpose is to raise funds (aside from our library's regular budget) to benefit & be used for events, programs, & more for kids & families in our Warren County community. This is our 1st year, since the Scenic Regional Library of Wright City opened in 2018 , that we have been able to form a committee for our Friends of the Library members. By having our committee it now allows us to keep 100% of ALL funds raised at our Wright City Library. Last year due to covid we were unable to have our committee & had to reschedule the event for this year. Aside from our book sales this is our BIGGEST event to support our Warren County communities through our local library. This is something we are happy to CELEBRATE & share with all of Warren County. WE NEED YOU & WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT! We hope that you will come celebrate with us & support us for our Cinco de Salsa event! PLEASE JOIN US on THURSDAY, MAY 5th for our HAPPY HOUR, MIXER, & LIVE AUCTION for NAMING RIGHTS! By attending and participating in the Live Auction you have an opportunity to meet other great people in the Warren County communities & bid for Naming Rights. Winning a bid allows you to design your own large sign which will be displayed for 1 year at 10 locations inside our library that you will bid on to sponsor that area. After the auction you'll be given instructions on who to send your sign design in to , etc. Payments will be received after the auction ends before the event closes at 7:30 p.m. ********All the DETAILED information is included below on our personal invitation and also on the AUCTION flyer shared in our SCENIC REGIONAL LIBRARIES newsletter. Please be sure to read through all as it should answer any questions you may have. You MUST RSVP by call/text/email OR by selecting FREE ticket(s) here through this evite event. We know some may have plans or business may be busy during this date and time as it is on "Cinco de Mayo". Please know that you may have someone else in relation to yourself or your business attend to represent and bid for you. Also if you have plans for this special holiday you still have time to enjoy them. We have the Happy Hour & Mixer and free margaritas as well as non alcoholic beverages available to enjoy free for 1 hr. to get you started before you go out after our event. If you just want to come to the auction that's alright too. It begins sharply at 6:30pm! The auction will last about 15-20 mins. & our after party gives a little time after for winners to make payments enjoy drinks & dessert and the event will close at 7:30pm. If you're going out after you will probably have avoided the early Cinco de Mayo crowd and still have time to enjoy dinner and other festivities.
