STRATFORD, CT — Two men are accused of stealing eight cars from a dealership in Stratford, according to police. The incident occurred Wednesday morning at a business on Barnum Avenue, where Victor Bourne and Aaron Brown entered the building, took the keys for eights cars and stole them from the lot, police said in a news release. Stratford detectives took the pair into custody later that day with the assistance of Bridgeport police, according to the news release. The stolen cars were recovered in Stratford, Bridgeport and Hamden, police said. Bourne, 21, of Bridgeport, and Brown, 19, of Brooklyn, New York, were both charged with first-degree larceny and third-degree burglary, according to the news release. They were initially held on $25,000 bond before being released from custody on a promise to appear in court, police said. Their court date has been scheduled for Oct. 30, according to the news release.
