STRATFORD, CT — Police are seeking the public's help to find two men suspected in an armed bank robbery that occurred Tuesday in Stratford, according to law enforcement.
The incident took place about 4 p.m. at Chase Bank, 2855 Main St., police said in a news release. One of the men approached the teller, and showed a handgun and a note demanding money, according to police, who said the pair fled with about $1,000.
The armed man was white with blue eyes and short hair, and was wearing jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and a black mask, police said. The man had a silver handgun, according to police. The other man was white with longer hair and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, the news release said.
