PROHIBITION AND RUM RUNNING Speaker and author Joe Boggs will talk about cops, cars, and rum runners in the Toledo-Detroit-Windsor Corridor with a special emphasis on Grosse Ile and Downriver. Prohibiition in the United Sates was a nation-wide constitutional ban on the production, importation transportation and sale of alcoholic beverages from 1920 to 1933.
