Open to all: Community volunteer day as part of the Grow Pittsburgh's Monthly Volunteer Project (MVP) Braddock Farms is located at 1000 Braddock Avenue, Braddock PA, 15104. The type of volunteer work you can expect: Mulching pathways, weeding and cultivating garden beds, general clean-up and beautification of the farm and the surrounding area, flower plantings, etc. MVP volunteers are encouraged to bring their own water bottles, snack, and sun protection. Dressing in layers is recommended. Closed-toe shoes are a must. We encourage everyone to wear clothes that they don't mind getting dirty, as well as work gloves if you have a pair. There is ample parking all around the farm. There is bathroom and water access as well. Lastly, we require everyone to wear a mask on site and observe social distancing rules when necessary.
