Press release from the Town of Westwood: April 20, 2022 Norfolk County Mosquito Control - Annual Aerial Program The Westwood Board of Health has been notified by the Norfolk County Mosquito Control Program that their annual aerial larviciding program is set to begin as soon as Thursday April 21, 2022, between 7:00AM and 7:30PM. Wind and weather permitting, helicopters will treat area wetlands with larvicide intended to prevent mosquito eggs from hatching. One or two helicopters will be flying in our area and public safety will be notified in advance. Please see the map below for the sections of town wetlands to be targeted.
