Description
Well established food distributor, located in Needham, MA, seeks a conscientious Administrative Assistant to support its sales and purchasing teams. Will communicate with vendors and customers to enter new sales transactions and resolve any discrepancies that arise. The ideal candidate must be well organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Specific duties will include:
Provide ongoing support to sales and purchasing departments
Data entry of sales quotes on new transactions
Communicate with customers and vendors on a regular basis
Provide updates to logistics department on status of orders
Communicate with Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word and Excel
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years as an Administrative Assistant
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of integrity and strong work ethic
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
Strong communication skills
