Blooma Tree Experts is a successful family-owned tree service company that has operated in the greater Seattle area for over 15 years. We looking for a reliable, hard worker who enjoys working outside all year long. The role will be 7am to roughly 3pm for Tuesday through Thursday (occasionally 4 days a week). We have a great crew culture that values teamwork and work ethic, so we're looking to find someone who will fit into that. We are a growing company, so this role has the opportunity to turn full-time after you've proven yourself on a part-time basis. ** Valid driver's license a MUST. Experience driving with a trailer is a plus.** Job Duties: - Assist with site prep, including positioning trucks, fueling chainsaws/hedgers, setting up work zone - Dragging brush and moving rounds of wood efficiently from the drop zone to the chipper or driveway - Support climbers by lower ropes, delivering tools, etc. - Operate chippers, chainsaws, pruning & hand tools - Clean up site, including raking debris and equipment clean-up - Drive large trucks (bucket trucks & chip trucks) safely and responsibly Requirements: - Experience in a physical labor role, preferably tree services or landscaping - Able to lift and carry 50 pounds - Strong attitude, reliable & on-time, attention to detail and willingness to learn - Strong communicator and attentive; there will be climbers in the trees above you, so you need to pay attention and communicate with them as they drop branches & brush - Able (or willing to learn) how to operate a chipper - Able (or willing to learn) how to drive bigger trucks, including bucket trucks (non-CDL) - Valid Driver’s License - Ability to pass drug test - High School Diploma / GED Desired but not required: - Pruning experience - Hedge trimming experience Compensation: - $20 - $25/hour (depending on experience and ability to drive trucks) - We will pay for seminars related to tree services to improve your skills (and pay) - Annual bonus - Sick Pay EMAIL US: - Your name, address, phone number - Job history, skills, or resume - References search terms: laborer, outdoor work, groundsman, tree work, climber, worker, outside, landscaping, landscaper, construction, groundsperson, part time work, construction
