Special Town Meeting warrant closes The Select Board voted March 21 to open the warrant for a Special Town Meeting to be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, to hear several zoning and financial articles. The warrant for this special meeting was open for one day, Monday, March 28, from 8 to 4. During this time, articles were submitted to the Select Board office, 2nd floor, Town Hall. Article-submission packets, including instructions, were available at the office and online at arlingtonma.gov/townmeeting. The Special Town Meeting will take place within the 2022 annual meeting at Town Hall or other location as deemed appropriate in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic, including virtually, if requested by the moderator and approved by the Select Board. The draft warrant for the annual Town Meeting for 2022 is available here >> Town Meeting to start April 25 Town Meeting is due to open at 8 p.m. Monday, April 25, and meet every Monday and Wednesday until all articles have been voted on. Until Town Meetings, articles face hearings before relevant public bodies -- the Select Board, Finance Committee and Redevelopment Board.
