TOWSON, MD — In recent weeks, three assaults, two burglaries and a robbery attempt were reported out of the Towson Precinct. The following is information provided by the Baltimore County Police Department about the crimes.
A robber went into the 7200 block of York Road and threatened to steal items, then left before police arrived. The robbery attempt occurred at 1:20 a.m. on April 20.
Someone impersonating a police officer assaulted an individual in the 1300 block of Berwick Road at noon on April 11.
An apartment was burglarized in the 1000 block of Charles View Way. Four gaming controllers, three pairs of shoes, two gaming systems and a watch were stolen in the break-in, which happened between 9 p.m. on April 4 and 11:40 a.m. on April 8.
An assault occurred in the 400 block of York Road, where someone got into an argument with an armed person. Police said the victim was not injured as a result of the assault, which happened at 9:05 p.m. on April 6.
An armed person assaulted a man in the 8700 block of Loch Bend Drive at 5:20 p.m. on April 4. Police said the victim suffered minor injuries.
A window was pried open in a burglary in the 100 block of Allegheny Avenue between 4 p.m. on April 3 and 10 a.m. on April 4. No property was reported missing, but the window was damaged.
