The Silhouette Lady returns to Museum of Darien at an Open House event on Sunday, May 1st. Appointments are required and available from 10am-4pm to have children's silhouettes created by The Silhouette Lady by calling Sarah at (203) 984-1798. A great gift for Mother's Day, silhouettes cost $30, with framing at an additional cost. Silhouettes can also be ordered online at thesilhouettelady.com by April 27th for delivery by May 1st. This fundraising event benefits the education programs of the Museum of Darien. Other activities for the Open House event include tours of the Bates Scofield House from 1-3pm by teen tour guides and admission to the new impressionist exhibit, State of Inspiration: CT Artist Colonies, in the Scofield Barn from 10am-4pm. These activities are free of charge with a $5 suggested donation. The Museum of Darien is located at 45 Old Kings highway in Darien.
