Here are the top five stories in Denver today: Metro Denver is one of the worst areas for ozone pollution. A recent study by the American Lung Association has several Denver metro communities on the list for the worst ozone conditions in the U.S. This probably won't surprise some, as the EPA recently moved to designate the Front Range as a severe violator of ozone standards. (FOX31) Today's fire danger warning is considered extremely dangerous. Boulder and most of Colorado, outside of the mountains, will be under a Red Flag warning starting at 11 a.m. on Friday. A Red Flag warning is issued when there is high fire danger, usually due to adverse weather conditions.
