Job Description Summary This position is responsible for our customers’ product fulfillment and deliveries. As a lead in this hands-on role, you and your team will execute day to day operations across all facets of warehousing and fulfillment. Areas of responsibility include receiving, warehousing, pulling, packing, and shipping of product. This person exhibits an ownership mentality and a commitment to consistently meeting customer fulfillment expectations with a sense of urgency. The Lead shares our core values of prioritizing relationships, taking ownership, being positive and getting results. This position engages with sales, customer service, engineering, and operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Lead the warehouse team in the completion of daily goals related to receiving, put away, order pulling, packing, outbound staging, and shipping of palletized products and small packages shipped via LTL. • Develop and maintain expertise in all processes and procedures related to the functions above and ensure adherence by all team members • Responsible for team performance in meeting all expectations related to receiving timeliness, accurate ERP processing, inventory accuracy and outbound shipping SLAs • Ensure warehouse and fulfillment documentations are completed and routed properly • Be the point of contact for all internal warehousing and fulfilment inquiries, providing direction to help resolve all issues in a timely manner • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory process • Take ownership of department’s performance against key metrics and targets • Ensure accurate data management and entry into relevant systems • Build and maintain strong cross functional relationships with engineers, production, and sales team to help drive operational results • Schedule pickups and deliveries, as well as load and unload 3rd party carriers • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, shipping and receiving area • Verify counts to purchase orders, check materials for damage, note any damage on receiving documents, and manage damage resolution with 3rd party carriers • Other duties as assigned Skills • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written • Strong coordination and organization skills with strict accuracy and attention to detail • Must be able to work under strict deadlines and under pressure • Pro-active approach with strong problem-solving skills • Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time • Must be forklift trained and ensure all equipment is maintained, safe, and reliable condition to prevent damage of material during handling • Be accountable and promote accountability • Must follow company policies, procedures, practices, and standards of conduct Education and/or Experience • High school diploma or education equivalent required • Minimum 3 years of warehouse operations experience • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience • Experience using an ERP (inventory, production, shipping, receiving functions) • Must have working knowledge with Microsoft Office Working Conditions • Indoor climate-controlled manufacturing environment • Ability to sit or stand through the duration of a shift • Requires ability to reach above shoulders, bend, stretch, full hand and finger dexterity, visual acuity, push/pull and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds • Hours are 8-5 M-F dependent on carriers’ pickups/deliveries and special assignment deadlines. Some flexibility to occasional Saturday hours as business demands dictate
