HEALDSBURG, CA — Members of the public are invited to join retired Healdsburg police Chief Kevin Burke's family, friends and Healdsburg Police Department staff in honoring and celebrating his life and his many contributions to the community. Burke, who served as Healdsburg's chief of police from 2011 until 2021, died April 5 at his home in Healdsburg. He was 55 years old. Public Viewing A public viewing will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at St. John's Catholic Church, 208 Matheson St., in Healdsburg. Funeral Mass The funeral mass is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, and will also be held at St. John's Catholic Church. Celebration Of Life A celebration of life is planned to start at noon Friday, May 6, at Plaza Park in Healdsburg.
