HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Highland Park Police made a pair of arrests over the past recent days involving charges of a violation of a protective order and an in-state warrant. Local residents are reminded that criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty. ARRESTS Daniel Rodriguez, 24, Waukegan, was arrested at 12:01 p.m. on April 19 and charged with being in violation of a protective order. He was released and taken to bond court. Justin Russell, 34, Chicago, was arrested at 2:54 a.m. on April 21 after being wanted on an in-state warrant. Police said that police noticed a suspicious vehicle in the 1300 block of Park Avenue West and determined that Russell was wanted on an in-state warrant. He was released to the custody of Bedford Park Police pending a court date.
