MWRTA To Restore Evening Bus Service On Most Routes

NATICK, MA — All but three MWRTA bus routes will have evening service restored by the end of July, the transit agency said on Wednesday. Service was reduced in late March as a precaution against coronavirus. On July 27, all routes except 1, 8 and 9 will have full evening service restored. The nighttime hours were cut on March 25. Routes 1 and 8 connect downtown Natick and the Natick Mall to the Woodland MBTA station. Route 9 runs between the Natick Mall and the Staples office park in Framingham. MWRTA has gradually been restoring service as coronavirus cases have dropped locally. At the end of June, more trips were added to Route 4 and the Framingham Commuter Shuttle. MWRTA is still requiring all passengers to wear face coverings while riding the bus. See the restored schedules that will start on July 27.
