Versatile singer (& rhythm-guitarist & X-drummer) looking to jam with other experienced musicians - especially lead guitarist (and I'll even buy drums to play if we can't find drummer). I just prefer to focus on vocals. I'm easy going and flexible per style and also do originals - I'll do folk or blues for variety but when the moon is full I get an itch for hard 80's covers (and some 70's). I've done lots of Who, Doors, Bad Co...but experimenting more with Metal requiring higher vocals so prefer to tune down a step whenever possible. I'm an 80's teen, now entering 50's. Was in pro band years ago. I have pro attitude but mainly play for fun now to keep the rust off (but won't rule out party gigs). I've played lots of open mics this side of river plus jams with locals. I'm also a songwriter so nuance and 'dynamics' over volume are appreciated. I have great range but also know my limitations so years of trial/error have made me aware of what fits my voice. Love Blackthorn stuff. I'm drawn to melodic sounds of Foreigner and Triumph and can even pull off some Queensryche and Iron Maiden. Also Stix, Krokus, Cult, Ozzy, Motley, Kiss, (not into thrashy Metallica).
