NATICK, MA — A Natick High School student is one of 36 graduating seniors across Massachusetts who earned a scholarship sponsored by a university. Natick High School senior Jason Frey earned a scholarship sponsored by the University of Chicago. Frey will likely attend the school and study law. Natick High School has been especially well represented in this year's National Merit awards. This week's scholarships are the third round handed out so far in 2020. In the first round in late April, Natick High School senior Grace Jung earned a scholarship sponsored by Pfizer Inc. to study psychiatry. In a mid-May round, Natick senior Jacob Moldover earned a $2,500 scholarship to also study law. The National Merit Scholarship Corp. announced 3,300 winners across the U.S. on Wednesday. Each student will get between $500 and $2,000. An additional round of college based scholarships will be announced in July, according to the NMSC.
